ALL-NATURAL FACE MASKS
Aeveka’s skin care line is full of great creams and face washes for those that want an all-natural skin care line that they can trust. But sometimes, you need a little bit more: this is where masks can come in. When you take the time to purchase all-natural products for your entire skincare needs, why would you use anything that is laden with toxins and full of ingredients that you can’t even pronounce? Here are some great all-natural face masks that you can whip up at home and add into your regular skin-care routine.
Honey and Apple Mask:
This delicious smelling honey and apple mask will fix tired looking, stressed-out skin. With the holidays fast approaching, every woman wants to look her best, no matter how stressed the shopping and party-planning is making her. Use this mask once every two weeks for regular skin, or once a week for oily skin.
Why Apple?
Apple contains vitamins A, B, and C, and are full of antioxidants that can relieve sun damage. Apples are also packed with Glycolic Acid which both exfoliates and clears pores, making it wonderful for oily skin or skin that tends to break out. Honey, as well, is an antibacterial, helping get rid of bacteria on your skin, while retaining your skin’s natural moisture.
Apple and Honey Mask Recipe and Directions:
• two tablespoons of honey
1. Peel, core, and chop the apple
2. Place the apple and the honey in the blender and mix until smooth
3. Apply the mixture to your face with your fingers or a clean foundation brush
4. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water
Finish your ritual with an all-natural toner made of witch hazel, followed by one of Aeveka’s creams.
Green Tea and Honey Mask for Acne and Inflammation:
Green tea, long praised for its variety of nutritional benefits, contains polyphenols which protect the skin from sun damage. Green tea also reduces inflammation, making it perfect for those that have acne or other conditions such as rosacea.
To Make Green Tea and Honey Mask
• 1-2 tea bags of green tea, brewed
• 1-2 tablespoons of honey, preferred organic
1. Mix the green tea leaves with honey
2. Smooth the mixture onto your face with your hands or a clean foundation brush
3. Keep the mask on for 20-30 minutes
4. Rinse face with warm water
Follow with a light face crème, like Aeveka’s Revitalizing Day Crème.
Use this mask up to two times per week depending on your skin.
You should only use the best ingredients for your skin in your crèmes and face scrubs. Chemical-packed facial masks are not just less effective; they are harmful to your skin. By using all-natural masks, you will be protecting your skin - your most precious asset.
With love for you and your skin,
Aeveka,
